As the third logo in my series to redesign the real estate industry, I chose to target a more "grassroots” company. Apex is your local community roofing company. I wanted to build on this concept by using a more stylized, custom A paired with a sleek sans serif font, Montserrat. The form of the A depicts the peak of a curved gable roof. The stylized Montserrat font allowed for a sneaky house shape in the negative space between the E and the X. The Roofing text, a custom Frankenstein between the fonts Fair Prosper and Batoshi, adds that sense of friendliness and approachability a community business needs.
