Hey! My name is Matt DeRitter.

I build brands through functional design following my basic principal: Discover. Design. Succeed.

Being a self taught designer, I used YouTube and countless hours after school tracing, practicing, and learning what it means to create meaningful and functional designs from everyone’s favorite brands. With that knowledge, I carved my own path through high-school by piloting an in-school work study to further develop my skills beyond the syllabus.

As I entered college, I built out my freelance business, met new people, and gained opportunities with some of the biggest brands. I developed my interest in informal education, started tutoring new design students, and now use my platform to help others get started the same way I did: through YouTube and countless hours of tracing, practicing, and learning what it means to create meaningful and functional design.

While I continue to grow myself, I hope to help you Discover, Design, and Succeed with your own project or business.
