The logo features a new take on design in the real estate and housing industry. My number 1 priority was to stray away from the typical roof line shape over some text that many industry logos feature. By breaking down the brief and developing ideas further, I landed on a check box. This cleverly allows the subtle nod to housing through the check shape, while also promoting integrity, compliance, and reliability as stated in the brief. I furthered the check box idea with a scribble line to indicative of a standard bullet point line of text relating back to inspections and the core of the business’ purpose.
