Larimar Patient Advocates is a North Carolina based company guiding individuals and families through the healthcare system. Larimar is there to advocate and represent their interests and work towards their best outcomes. Their goal is to empower patients to have a voice in their own care and to give them peace of mind.
In creating this brand identity, I studied the forms and patterns in larimar stones to create the forms in the icon. In doing so, I found a unique shape in the center to craft into an abstract human form. With these elements, the energy of the logo aligns with Larimar’s core focus: the patient. Color wise, we stayed in line with the medical and service industry by bringing out punchy and professional blues, greens, and dark grays to further the ideas of trust, care, and peace of mind.
